On July 10th, we had the pleasure of participating in the workshop "Linocut for beginners" together with Ana Avramova. Within one day, the participants had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the history of linocut, with the technique of engraving and printing an image with linoleum. The students carved their own sketches on the linoleum and made two impressions on the paper provided by us, in sizes up to A5, in one color.

Who is Ana Avramova?

Ana Avramova likes to combine subjects of natural sciences such as botany, zoology, and anatomy with symbols derived from esotericism and mysticism. She achieves this by mixing different artistic techniques - from ink and watercolor to linocut and cyanotype.
